About The Position

As a Front-End Team Member, you help create a smooth, positive checkout experience by accurately completing purchases and interacting with customers in a friendly and efficient manner. Tasks include scanning items, bagging groceries, and answering questions. You also help keep the front end organized, clean, and operating consistently by handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area. The work is active, with changing priorities and a steady flow of customers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old, or 18 years old depending on local or state requirements.
• Complete company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work indoors and outdoors as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Scan items, handle produce codes and pricing, and complete orders accurately.
• Bag groceries and assist customers with questions.
• Collect carts and restock supplies.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and operating consistently.
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Recognize and address pricing, transaction, and customer service questions.
