About The Position

As a Front-End Team Member, you help create a smooth, positive checkout experience by processing purchases accurately and assisting customers in a friendly, efficient manner. Tasks include scanning items, bagging groceries, and answering questions. You also help keep the front end organized, clean, and operating consistently by rotating among checkout transactions, cart collection, supply restocking, and checkout-area upkeep. The work is active and fast-paced, with changing priorities and a steady flow of customers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old, or 18 years old where required by local or state requirements.
• Complete company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working indoors and outdoors as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers with questions during checkout.
• Maintain accuracy with pricing, produce codes, and order completion.
• Collect carts, restock supplies, and maintain a clean, organized checkout area.
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Recognize and address pricing, transaction, or customer service questions.
