About The Position

The Front End associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; accurately processes purchases and returns; promotes credit and loyalty programs; and helps maintain merchandise presentation, sales-floor recovery, and store cleanliness. The associate also supports store shrink-reduction and safety programs, follows labor laws and company policies, and performs other duties as assigned. The position is at Marshalls Store 1165, 2357 Myers Street, Oroville, California. Starting pay is $16.90–$17.40 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and embodying customer experience principles.

Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to established procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned; may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs.
