About the position
The junior to mid-level Front End Engineer position at Trusted Concepts, a division of Two Six Technologies, involves working on a mid-sized, high-visibility program that is transforming the way the Sponsor does business. The successful candidate will support the product team for the flagship application, integrate with multiple external systems, and work with the Sponsor's most sensitive data. The role requires experience with Angular and TypeScript, as well as 3+ years of software engineering experience. Desired skills include experience with JavaScript, state management, HTML5/CSS3, E2E testing frameworks, testing frameworks, converting UX mockups to UIs, AWS, version control systems, containers, and continuous integration software. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience is also required.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the product team for the flagship application
- Learning what makes the Sponsor who they are
- Integrating with multiple external systems
- Working with the Sponsor's most sensitive data
- Influencing how the customer executes their mission
- Experience with Angular and TypeScript
- Experience with JavaScript
- Experience with state management using Redux, NgRx, or NGXS
- Experience with HTML5/CSS3
- Experience with E2E testing frameworks like Protractor, Playwright, Selenium, and PhantomJS
- Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Karma, Jest, and Jasmine
- Experience converting UX mockups to UIs
- Experience working with AWS (AWS certification a double plus!)
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Experience with containers (e.g., Docker)
- Experience with Continuous Integration software like Jenkins
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment
- Contributes to the open source community
