About The Position

A Front End Sales Associate/Cashier handles guest payments and ensures accurate accounting of transactions, collections, and disbursements. The role reports to the Market Manager and Assistant Marketing Managers. The associate also supports store operations by returning carts and baskets, handling go-backs and damaged items, maintaining displays, restocking, and assisting team members. The position requires availability through January 15, 2027.

Requirements

Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Basic knowledge of cash register functions.
Ability to remain stationary for periods of up to 8 hours.
Ability to bend and stoop occasionally.
Ability to escort guests to other parts of the facility as circumstances dictate.
Ability to work until January 15, 2027.

Nice To Haves

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Collect cash, checks, or charge payments from guests and provide change and charge vouchers when appropriate.
Verify the accuracy of the cash bank by counting cash, checks, and charge payments at the end of the shift.
Obtain and review information regarding price changes.
Verify employee discounts, returns, exchanges, and voids with assistance from a manager or shift lead.
Return carts and baskets to their central distribution areas.
Handle go-backs and damaged items, fix displays, help restock, and support team members.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
