About The Position

Lunds & Byerlys is hiring a full-time Front End Manager to create a positive shopping experience for customers. The role oversees and assists with front-end operations, supports staff hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and scheduling, and handles bookkeeping and payroll processing. The position earns $22.50–$29.13 per hour; the offered rate may vary based on skills, knowledge, expertise, experience, and internal equity. Employees work a full-time schedule with shifts scheduled within a range of 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The company operates seven days a week and is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in business or equivalent experience.
At least one year of experience with payroll, scheduling, and all aspects of bookkeeping.
Prior team leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of retail operations.
Computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers.
Manage and assist front-end operations, including scanning items, entering pricing data, processing payments, packaging groceries, and resolving checkout concerns.
Perform bookkeeping and payroll processing.
Assist with coaching, mentoring, and training front-end staff.
Schedule front-end staff.
Hire and train front-end staff.
Assist the Operations Manager with other assigned tasks.
