Front End Department Supervisor

Lowe's Companies, Inc.•Richardson, TX

About The Position

The Front End Department Supervisor leads team members and oversees front-end operations, promoting customer service, operational efficiency, safety, and associate development. The supervisor assigns work and staffing to meet customer demand, coaches and recognizes associates, addresses performance and associate-relations concerns, and collaborates with cross-functional partners. The role monitors operational results, resolves barriers, responds to unexpected events, and helps maintain safe, clean, secure, and organized store areas. At locations without a Fulfillment Department Supervisor, the role also oversees fulfillment activities alongside front-end operations. The supervisor may also serve as Manager-on-Duty, providing store-wide leadership over engagement, customer service, staffing, and operational efficiency. This includes observing and coaching associate-customer interactions, adjusting coverage to customer traffic, ensuring safe and clear aisles, managing responses to call buttons, and handing off shift observations to the next Manager-on-Duty. Lowe’s is a home improvement company with approximately 300,000 associates, over 1,700 stores, 530 branches, and 130 distribution centers.
