Front-end Architect

This position involves developing javascript Media Content and Ad related products mainly focused on video, video ads, interactive content, etc. for our ad-serving platform. These end-to-end products/features render dynamically on thousands of different websites to our customers. The role requires a deep understanding of product requirements and the ability to provide technical feedback for business decision making. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in scaling frontend applications, defining architecture and practices for large-scale frontend applications, and expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and Vanilla JavaScript. Additionally, experience with modern CSS architectures and methodologies, as well as knowledge of IAB Digital Ad Serving standards and protocols, would be beneficial.

• Understand the product requirements and extract necessary information from an architectural point of view
• Provide technical feedback for business decision making
• Perform or lead research to inform project architecture or technical path
• Create high-level tech architecture solutions
• Create or oversee the creation of low-level tech solutions
• Identify areas for system improvement (performance, new frameworks, etc.)
• Drive and support people's technical growth
• Scale frontend applications
• Define architecture and practices for large-scale frontend applications
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and Vanilla JavaScript
• Experience with Typescript and writing both ES5 and ES6 standards
• Cross-browser development
• Expert understanding of the browser rendering pipeline
• Experience with responsive design
• Creativity and problem-solving ability
• Organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
• Experience with modern CSS architectures and methodologies
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical discipline
• Excellent speaking and writing English skills
• Experience with bundling techniques and mechanisms for optimizing front-end performance
• Knowledge of IAB Digital Ad Serving standards and protocols like VAST, VPAID, MRAID (nice to have)
• Knowledge of .NET Core or other b (nice to have)

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in scaling frontend applications
