About The Position

Amara Cay Resort is an oceanfront property in the Florida Keys, where the Front Desk Trainee helps create memorable guest experiences. The role provides exceptional customer service and a welcoming first impression, handles guest arrivals and departures, responds to inquiries and concerns, and offers information about local attractions, dining, and resort amenities. The trainee collaborates with other departments to support seamless guest experiences, keeps the front desk clean and organized, and accurately handles cash and credit card transactions.

Requirements

Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous cash handling experience.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Proficiency in computer systems and knowledge of hotel property management software.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
