About The Position

The J-1 Spa Receptionist Intern/Trainee program is a seasonal, 12-month program designed to provide participants with comprehensive exposure to various aspects of spa operations. This program aims to develop skills in guest service, leadership, and hospitality management. Participants will begin at the Spa Front Desk and rotate through departments such as Spa Attendant, Spa Café Server, and Spa Coordinator functions. The program is structured for individuals currently enrolled in post-secondary education outside the US (Interns) or those who have completed their education and/or have relevant professional experience (Trainees). The focus is on structured training, professional development, cultural exchange, and hands-on experience in luxury hospitality. As part of the Kohler Waters Spa team, participants will learn how different departments like guest service, operations, scheduling, retail, food and beverage, and leadership collaborate to create exceptional guest experiences. Through hands-on training, shadowing, and increasing responsibility, participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary for future hospitality leadership roles. The Spa Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring guests have a smooth arrival, departure, and a relaxing experience.
