About The Position

America's Best, part of National Vision, is hiring a part-time Front Desk Receptionist. Receptionists greet and welcome customers, maintain organized patient records, help keep patient schedules flowing smoothly, and provide prompt, courteous service in person and by phone. The role supports the store’s operations and customer experience while following safety protocols. Stores are closed on Sundays.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or in a similar role.
0–2 years of related experience or training.
Experience handling multiple phone lines.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality customer service while following all safety protocols.
Ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol.
Process and understand managed care plans, obtaining document information from insurance companies as needed.
Provide customers with basic and accurate information.
Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes.
File patient records daily and pull patient files for the following day's appointments.
Check order status and notify customers when orders are ready or delayed.
Keep the reception area tidy and presentable, with necessary materials available.
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries, and maintain office-supply inventory.
Participate in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings.
