About The Position

America’s Best, part of National Vision, is hiring a part-time Front Desk Receptionist. Receptionists greet and welcome customers, maintain organized patient records, and help patient schedules flow smoothly. They provide prompt, courteous service in person and by phone, while supporting store operations and following safety protocols. Store locations are closed every Sunday.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or in a similar role.
• 0–2 years of related experience or training.
• Experience handling multiple phone lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service while following safety protocols.
• Help ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls according to National Vision protocol.
• Process managed care plans and obtain document information from insurance companies as needed.
• Provide customers with basic, accurate information.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes.
• File patient records daily and pull patient files for the following day’s appointments.
• Check order status and notify customers when orders arrive or are delayed.
• Keep the reception area tidy and presentable, with necessary materials available.
• Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries, and maintain office-supply inventory.
• Participate in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings.
