About The Position

The Front Desk Receptionist welcomes guests to the property, providing an exceptional guest experience at check-in, throughout the guest’s stay, and upon departure. This role is responsible for creating a seamless and personalized arrival and departure experience, responding to a wide variety of guest requests, and delivering service aligned with Four Seasons standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred; luxury hotel experience is an asset
  • High School Diploma required; college education is beneficial
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and a passion for delivering personalized service
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel systems

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and register guests in a friendly and efficient manner, using the guest’s name whenever possible and ensuring room preferences and rates are accurate
  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
  • Respond to all guest inquiries and requests in a timely and accurate manner; interactions include in-person, phone, and digital channels
  • Resolve guest concerns and complaints proactively while identifying opportunities to personalize service and enhance the guest experience
  • Assist guests with recommendations for dining, local attractions, transportation, and activities, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the local area
  • Manage guest check-out process, including posting charges, preparing and explaining bills, and completing payment transactions accurately
  • Maintain and reconcile a balanced cash bank, including handling cash, checks, and foreign currency exchanges
  • Support pre-arrival planning, including guest communications, special occasion setups, and personalized amenities
  • Utilize hotel systems to check guests in and out, run reports, and assign rooms appropriately
  • Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations as needed and assist with phone coverage when required
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Bell, Housekeeping, In-Room Dining) to ensure seamless guest service delivery
  • Comply with Four Seasons policies, standards of conduct, and safety procedures
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
