About The Position

Cape Cod Hand & Upper Extremity Therapy is an outpatient rehabilitation practice that specializes in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. We have expertise treating the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Our facilities are equipped to offer our patients an excellent opportunity to reach their optimal functional abilities. Managed and operated by Occupational Therapists mandates that patient care is our number one priority. We take pride in the level of personal and compassionate care that is delivered; emphasizing a hands-on approach to rehabilitation and exercise. We are currently looking for a Front Desk Receptionist who embodies our work ethic to join our supportive team at our outpatient orthopedic clinic.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 1+ years of previous medical front office experience
• Excellent telephone skills
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Available and flexible with your hours
• Close attention to detail
• Great time management and organizational skills
• Team player attitude and energetic with a focus on excellent customer service

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with medical software preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service
• Answer phones
• Electronic scheduling
• Data entry
• Verify current personal and financial information
• Maintain patient charts and electronic medical records
• Verify insurance benefits
• Charge tickets
• Collect, post, and deposit patient payments
• Fax, file, and perform any other duties as assigned
