About The Position

The Sugarloaf Sports and Fitness Center is hiring seasonal front desk attendants for the winter season. The center offers guests a fitness center, hot tubs, a pool, and a café. Attendants welcome guests with a smile, eye contact, an introduction, and a friendly greeting, and are expected to be team players who take pride in their appearance and work. Opening shifts typically start at 6 a.m. Full-time opening shifts and part-time closing shifts are available. The pay range is listed as $178.00 to $21.00 hourly.

Requirements

• Previous guest service experience.
• Accommodating and cooperative team player.
• Flexible availability to meet business demands, including shifts that could include days, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Check in guests.
• Distribute locker keys and towels.
• Sell day passes and memberships.
• Book racquetball and massage appointments.
• Sell merchandise, gift cards, and gift certificates.
• Prepare and serve food and alcohol, and police alcohol consumption in the café.
• Answer phones.
• Collect various forms of payment.
• Fold and stock towels.
• Maintain hot tubs.
• Mop floors, empty towel bins, and shovel walkways.
