About The Position

The Front Desk Associate provides superior customer service to current CLUB4 Fitness members and prospective members. The role handles front desk activities, supports membership sign-ups and facility tours, maintains member account information, responds to questions and concerns, and helps keep the Club neat and clean.

Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers while exceeding member expectations.
Strong listening skills, the ability to empathize with Club members, and the ability to problem-solve in partnership with Club management personnel.
Demonstrate diplomacy and professionalism in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Continual standing and walking during the shift.
Continual talking in person or on the phone during the shift.
Ability to perform close reading while working on computer equipment, repetitive typing motions, and cleaning activities.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Regular exposure to certain chemicals related to cleaning products.

Nice To Haves

Customer service background preferred.
CPR / AED certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests while providing exceptional customer service.
Handle front desk-related activities.
Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
Check members into the PEAK/ABC IGNITE purchasing system.
Assist with the new membership sign-up process.
Take prospective members on tours of the Club facility.
Update member account information as needed.
Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating them to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the Club.
Complete daily Club cleaning assignments.
