About The Position

Pet Paradise is hiring a Seasonal Front Desk Associate to welcome pets and their parents at its Lake Buena Vista resort. The role supports a positive guest experience through front desk service, check-in and check-out, communications, cashiering, pet handling, and maintaining resort areas. The position involves considerable physical labor, including handling and walking pets and standing for extended periods. Scheduling needs may include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.

Requirements

One to two years of experience in a customer service role, such as customer service, call center, or receptionist work.
Ability to be detail-oriented and work with a sense of urgency while providing exceptional customer service.
Cheerful, friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail, especially in documentation.
Enjoys problem-solving to provide guests and customers with a premier experience.
Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 pounds.
Able to perform physical labor, including pet handling, walking, and standing for long periods.
Flexibility to meet resort scheduling needs, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.

Responsibilities

Welcome pet parents and pets as they enter the resort, creating a positive first interaction.
Organize and process guest check-ins and check-outs.
Walk pets during drop-off and pickup, coordinate suite placement, and ensure their needs are met.
Answer incoming phone calls, respond to voicemails, and reply to emails in a timely, problem-solving manner.
Complete cashiering and point-of-sale operations.
Communicate and follow through on requests from pet parents and resort leadership.
Maintain cleanliness of the entranceway, lobby, and restrooms.
Maintain, clean, and support the cat room according to resort routines.
Coordinate with the veterinary service team regarding veterinary appointment status and arrivals.
Put on and remove harnesses during check-in and check-out, and be familiar with different harness types.
Ensure suites are set up for each pet.
