About The Position

The Front Desk Assistant plays a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and efficient guest experience. This position supports daily hotel operations including guest services, reservations, concierge assistance, and light housekeeping tasks. Ideal candidates are friendly, organized, and comfortable multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods.
  • Comfortable with basic computer systems and email communication.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work required weekend shifts.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their stay.
  • Manage check‑in and check‑out processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist guests with luggage, directions, recommendations, and general concierge needs.
  • Answer phones and respond to emails promptly and professionally.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with a positive, solution‑focused approach.
  • Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and ensure proper documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams.
  • Assist with breakfast setup, replenishment, and light service as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and welcoming breakfast area.
  • Complete basic laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
  • Perform light cleaning duties in common areas to maintain a tidy environment.
  • Restock supplies at the front desk, lobby, and service areas.
