About The Position

Embassy Suites by Hilton Marlborough is looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic Front Desk Agent to join their team. As the first and last person our guests interact with, you'll play an important role in ensuring every stay begins and ends with genuine hospitality. The schedule is primarily 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with weekend availability required, including Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays as business needs require.

Requirements

• Previous customer service or hotel experience is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• At least one year in a customer service role with high guest interaction
• Ability to solve problems when they arise.
• Ability to work in a team environment is a must.
• Friendly and helpful personality is a must.
• Must be able to work a full shift standing and going back and forth to the valet lot and different areas of the hotel.
• A strong desire to make an impact on other people
• An outgoing and engaging personality
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
• Must be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Hospitality industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, professional attitude
• Efficiently check guests in and out using Hilton systems
• Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Process reservations, room changes, and payments
• Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
• Follow all Hilton brand standards and hotel policies
