About The Position

The Fresh Pack Coordinator (Fruit & Veggie Cutter) supports the Produce Manager by preparing and maintaining fresh-cut produce sections, ensuring product quality and freshness, and following food safety and sanitation procedures. The role also supports ordering, receiving, displaying products, and training fresh pack associates. It requires courteous, customer-focused service, a positive and flexible approach to teamwork, and attendance at the worksite during scheduled shifts.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to interact and maintain contact with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to work on-site during scheduled shifts in accordance with company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service; greet and speak with customers and help create a friendly, fun atmosphere.
• Assist the Produce Manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products for processing.
• Rotate merchandise when stocking to maintain freshness and quality.
• Set up and maintain cut vegetable and cut fruit sections; trim corn and package salad tomatoes as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Follow food safety policies and procedures and help enforce and maintain the company food safety program.
• Order supplies as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Assist with and coordinate training of fresh pack associates as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Maintain the quality and freshness of fresh pack products.
• Ensure required COOL labels are maintained daily.
• Trim and package fresh produce.
• Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean; sanitize and clean the department at least twice daily.
• Attend on-site work during scheduled shifts in accordance with company time and attendance policies.
