Fresh Pack Coordinator - (Fruit & Veggie Cutter)
About The Position
The Fresh Pack Coordinator (Fruit & Veggie Cutter) supports the Produce Manager in preparing and maintaining fresh-pack products and sections. The role includes assisting with ordering, receiving, and displaying products for processing; trimming and packaging fresh produce; and maintaining product freshness, quality, and required COOL labels. The coordinator also helps train fresh-pack associates and ensures food-safety policies are followed. The position requires courteous, customer-first service and a positive, friendly working environment built on flexibility and teamwork. The coordinator keeps the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean and ensures the department is sanitized at least twice daily. Attendance at the worksite during scheduled shifts is required. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to have constant daily contact and interaction with individuals at various levels.
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts in accordance with company time and attendance policies.
Responsibilities
- Provide efficient, courteous customer service in support of the company mission.
- Maintain a positive, friendly, and fun atmosphere through flexibility and teamwork.
- Greet and speak with customers and provide prompt, courteous, efficient service.
- Assist the Produce Manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products for processing.
- Rotate merchandise when stocking to maintain freshness and quality.
- Set up and maintain cut vegetable and cut fruit sections, trim corn, and package salad tomatoes as directed by the Produce Manager.
- Follow and enforce company food-safety policies and procedures.
- Order supplies as directed by the Produce Manager.
- Assist with and coordinate training of fresh-pack associates as directed by the Produce Manager.
- Maintain the quality and freshness of fresh-pack products.
- Ensure items requiring a COOL label are labeled daily.
- Trim and package fresh produce.
- Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean.
- Sanitize and clean the department at least twice daily.
- Attend on-site work during scheduled shifts in accordance with company time and attendance policies.
