About The Position

Maintain and operate the Fresh Cut Produce department, including trimming and preparing merchandise according to company and department standards, to ensure the work shift contributes to the store’s financial best interest. Complete other duties as assigned in a timely manner. The role may also be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs.

Requirements

• Some retail experience is a plus.
• Some computer skills.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all varieties of cut fruits and vegetables.
• Maintain produce displays and quality control.
• Become certified in Fresh Cuts Production.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow PPE and safety guidelines.
• Follow food safety and cleaning expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• Perform tasks in other departments as assigned based on customer experience needs.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
