About The Position

Maintain and operate the Fresh Cut Produce department, including trimming and preparing merchandise according to company and department standards, to help ensure the work shift contributes to the financial best interest of the store. Complete other duties as assigned in a timely manner. Work in a typical retail store environment with varied temperatures and possible exposure to outside weather conditions. Travel requirements vary by assignment.

Requirements

• Some retail experience is a plus.
• Some computer skills.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all varieties of cut fruits and vegetables.
• Maintain displays and quality control.
• Become certified in Fresh Cuts Production.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow all PPE and safety guidelines.
• Follow all food safety and cleaning expectations.
• Follow guest experience guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
