About The Position

As part of Wegmans’ Produce team, help customers live healthier, better lives by offering a variety of fruits and vegetables from around the world. Work with teammates to educate customers and ensure fresh produce is available throughout the day. This role is suited to someone passionate about fresh food and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The position is part-time and pays $16.50–$17 per hour. Shifts are available in the morning and afternoon, include weekends, and start as early as 4 a.m. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent service to customers and help them locate products.
Keep shelves and displays stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables.
Trim, package, and rotate products as needed to maintain their appearance and quality.
May unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays, and backroom coolers with new and existing products and inventory.
Educate customers about produce and help ensure fresh fruits and vegetables are available throughout the day.
