About The Position

As a Fresh Cut Produce Clerk, you will prepare fresh fruits and vegetables by slicing, dicing, and packaging produce. You will check produce for freshness, keep prep areas clean and organized, and create attractive customer displays. The role also includes helping with inventory, restocking, and customer service. It is an active, fast-paced, team-oriented position for someone who enjoys working with food and takes pride in their work.

Requirements

• Prior experience in grocery, food service, or produce preparation is preferred.
• Comfort using knives and other preparation tools safely and precisely.
• Ability to identify quality produce and follow food safety and handling guidelines.
• Friendly attitude and ability to assist customers and communicate clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs., with or without accommodation.
• Willingness to support fellow associates and work as part of a team.
