About The Position

IMMERSE is seeking experienced instructors to teach French and English or Spanish to adult professionals through live, communicative lessons on its immersive language-learning platform. Instructors lead small-group sessions in realistic environments such as meeting rooms, cafés, and workplace scenarios, helping learners build confidence for professional and everyday communication. Sessions are structured and last 40 minutes; lesson frameworks are provided, so instructors do not need to create a full curriculum. The role is fully remote and requires consistent weekly availability.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in French, English, or Spanish Language, Education, Applied Linguistics, or a closely related field; alternatively, a bachelor's degree plus French and/or English/Spanish teaching certification and extensive teaching experience.
• At least 2 years of structured French and English or Spanish language teaching experience.
• Experience teaching adult learners in groups of 8 or more.
• A strong foundation in communicative or task-based language teaching.
• Demonstrated ability to intentionally develop speaking and listening skills.
• Advanced French and English or Spanish proficiency (C1 CEFR or ACTFL Advanced High). If teaching French and Spanish rather than English, at least B2-level English proficiency is required.
• Comfort with technology and learning new platforms.
• Organized, reliable, and professional.
• Ability to commit to consistent weekly availability.
• Meet the technical requirements: a Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) PC; Intel i5-1135G7 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500U or better processor; Intel Iris Xe or AMD Vega 7 or better graphics; 8GB RAM; 10GB available storage; an Ethernet connection; internet speed of at least 50 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload; and a wired headset with built-in microphone.
