About The Position

Boscov’s is hiring a Freight Handler for its Distribution Center or Big Ticket warehouse team. The role involves loading tractor trailers and may include moving merchandise with hand trucks and power equipment, picking merchandise at heights of up to 40 feet, and manually loading trailers at the Big Ticket location. The job has a lifting requirement of up to 75 pounds. Most team members earn a weekly performance-based incentive. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Ability and desire to provide excellent work.
• Excellent attendance.
• Attention to detail and ability to calculate.
• Ability to lift loads onto trailers, with lifting requirements of up to 75 pounds.
• Legible writing and good communication skills.
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking may be required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior freight handler experience and/or warehouse experience, particularly loading tractor trailers.

Responsibilities

• Load tractor trailers, including lifting loads onto trailers.
• At the Big Ticket location, move merchandise using hand trucks and power equipment.
• At the Big Ticket location, pick merchandise at heights of up to 40 feet.
• At the Big Ticket location, load trailers manually.
