About The Position

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is hiring a Freight Handler in Denver, Colorado. This safety-sensitive warehouse position is responsible for loading and unloading freight from trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or handcarts. Freight Handlers are trained and certified to operate safety-sensitive equipment efficiently. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2 p.m. to midnight, and pay is $24.00 per hour. The position reports to the Operations Supervisor and has no direct reports.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 90 pounds.
• At least six months of verifiable forklift experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or handcarts.
• Use handheld scanners to track and document freight through the network.
• Accurately identify, sticker, and stage inbound freight.
• Verify freight condition to ensure quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
