About The Position

A Freight Forwarder, Air Export manages and coordinates the exportation of goods by air, including required documentation, scheduling, and communication with customers and third-party service providers. The role requires strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills, along with effective communication to manage customer relationships and support customer satisfaction.

The position coordinates air export shipments, prepares customs documentation, monitors shipment progress, and works with customers and internal departments to deliver timely and efficient service. It also ensures compliance with applicable customs regulations, trade laws, and other relevant requirements.

Requirements

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred; freight-forwarding experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as calculating costs and rates.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of air freight logistics and customs regulations.
• Understanding of trade laws and regulations.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of additional languages.
• Experience with logistics software and systems.
• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field; freight-forwarding experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air export shipments, including airline scheduling and movement of goods through transportation channels.
• Prepare and process customs-clearance documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Track and monitor shipments and provide customers with regular status updates.
• Manage customer relationships, maintain satisfaction, and address concerns or issues.
• Collaborate with logistics, finance, operations, and other internal departments to support timely, efficient service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
