Requirements

Logistics and supply chain knowledge
Scheduling and coordination
Communication and customer service
Problem-solving and multitasking
Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule shipments, deliveries, or transportation services.
Monitor transportation schedules and adjust as needed.
Communicate with carriers, drivers, vendors, and customers.
Arrange transportation resources and ensure availability.
Track shipments and provide status updates.
Prepare and maintain shipping documents, bills of lading, manifests, and invoices.
Maintain accurate transportation records and reports.
Address delivery delays, route changes, and transportation issues.
Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies or customer concerns.
Coordinate contingency plans during disruptions.
Track key performance metrics such as on-time delivery and transportation costs.
Analyze transportation data to improve operational efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
