About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Freezer Selector at its distribution center at 6200 Gordon Food Service Drive in Concord, North Carolina. The starting pay is $21.90 per hour, with two pay raises during the first year and the opportunity to earn more based on speed, efficiency, and production. The company reports that selectors earn an average of 122% of their base salary. Selectors help process customer orders in a manual distribution center. The work involves being on your feet for 10 hours, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in a freezer. Gordon Food Service provides training; prior warehouse experience is not required. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off. The second shift starts at 3 p.m. and continues until an approximate finish time; shift length varies with work volume. Employees must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed, and work in extreme cold or hot conditions. Requirements
