About The Position

The Order Selector is responsible for completing customer orders by selecting products from warehouse racks and assembling, palletizing, and/or shrink-wrapping products and pallets. The role may involve using powered industrial equipment and working in dry, cooled, refrigerated, or freezer areas. The position is based at 4228 South 72nd Street in Omaha, Nebraska, pays $21.50 per hour, and is scheduled for five days per week from 9 a.m. until finish, with Sundays required.

Requirements

Perform assigned tasks accurately while meeting production standards in a fast-paced warehouse operation.
Safely operate warehouse equipment in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
Work in assigned multi-temperature areas, including freezer, cooler, and dry conditions.
Follow verbal and written instructions.
Be able to work weekends, holidays, day and night hours, and overtime as necessary and assigned.
Be able to work in specified conditions for assigned 8–10-hour shifts.
Lift up to 75 pounds, with assistance as needed.
Meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent sitting, walking, standing, handling and manipulating objects, repetitive foot movements, crouching, kneeling, bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Prior order selecting experience.
Prior experience operating powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

Locate and lift specified quantities of cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets of grocery and other products for customer orders using order sheets or an audio headset.
Operate powered industrial equipment, such as single and double pallet jacks.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including inspecting powered industrial equipment with a safety checklist.
Report damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock or low-volume products.
Use proper wrapping techniques to protect products from damage.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
