About The Position

The Order Selector is responsible for selecting Dairy Maid account items so routes depart on time and the company maintains required service levels. The work takes place in a warehouse with an average temperature of -18°F. The position starts at $18.00 per hour, plus differential and incentive. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, starting at 6:00 a.m. and continuing until work is finished. The role involves operating an electric pallet jack, assembling and wrapping orders, identifying customer orders, and performing warehouse cleaning and upkeep. The position requires regular attendance and flexibility to meet departmental demands, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Associates must be able to work in temperature-controlled zones ranging from -5°F to ambient temperature.

Requirements

One month or more of related experience.
Flexibility and willingness to work departmental demands, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work in temperature-controlled zones ranging from -5°F to ambient temperature.
Ability to regularly stand and walk; reach and handle objects, tools, or controls; and sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Ability to observe surroundings, packages, and labels at both close and far distances.

Responsibilities

Operate an electric pallet jack to move racks, pallets, and totes.
Place products from pick slots onto a pallet, rack, or tote and wrap orders with stretch wrap.
Mark orders for customer identification.
Clean the warehouse, including sweeping, stacking pallets, leveling product in pick slots, and removing ice and debris.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
