About The Position
As a freelance sales associate, you will use your creative and technical expertise and passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers. Services may include makeup application, skincare advice, hair consultations, or fragrance consultations. You will work as part of a high-performing team to create impact through in-store events and help ensure the store meets high visual merchandising standards. This role offers a potential first step toward a progressive career with a leader in prestige beauty, with training and development opportunities and competitive remuneration. Makeup artistry certification and/or prior retail makeup experience is desirable, though applicants with beginner-level expertise are welcome. Expertise in fragrance, skincare, and hair consultation is valued, and applicants interested in developing these skills are also encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Demonstrate the ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
- Be able to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events, in a fast-paced work environment.
- Have previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Provide proof of the right to live and work in the country if invited to interview.
Nice To Haves
- Makeup artistry certification and/or prior retail makeup experience.
- Beginner-level makeup expertise is welcome.
- Expertise in fragrance, skincare, and hair consultation, or an interest in developing skills in these areas.
- Retail experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience demonstrating strong creative and technical expertise are also welcome.
