About The Position
MasterWord is seeking experienced Spanish <> English interpreters to provide language access services and help people with limited English proficiency communicate in their communities. Assignments may take place in person within the Colby, KS market. The opportunity offers flexibility in work hours.
Requirements
- Formal or professional interpretation experience.
- High-level fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Ability to commute for in-person assignments within the Colby, KS market.
Nice To Haves
- At least a two-year degree, or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; alternatively, six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Healthcare industry experience, such as work in a pharmacy, nursing home, hospital, hospice, patient care, pharmaceutical sales, or as a CNA, LVN, or RN; related volunteering or nursing-program practicum experience is also relevant.
Responsibilities
- Interpret between Spanish and English for people with limited English proficiency.
- Commute to in-person assignments within the Colby, KS market.
