About The Position

At Fluevog, we don’t just describe shoes. We tell stories about them. Working with us as a freelance copywriter, you’ll get to help shape how Fluevog sounds in the world. From product descriptions to campaign messaging, you’ll bring clarity, personality, and support our distinct voice in everything we say. This ongoing contract role is part storyteller, part editor, part translator. You’ll take ideas from across the business and turn them into copy that feels cohesive, expressive, and unmistakably Fluevog. If you love language, understand tone, and know how to balance creativity with consistency, we’d love to hear from you!

Requirements

• 2+ years of freelance copywriting experience (retail, fashion, or brand storytelling preferred)
• Strong portfolio of written work across multiple formats
• A clear sense of voice, tone, and audience
• Ability to write both creatively and clearly (and know when each is needed)
• Strong editing and proofreading skills
• Comfort working with multiple stakeholders and inputs
• Freelance experience with ability to invoice and receive payment in CAD
• An appreciation for the Fluevog brand and its unique voice

Responsibilities

• Write and edit product descriptions to support our Ecommerce site
• Develop social copy for newsletters, blog posts, and other content
• Ensure consistency in tone and voice across all submissions
• Collaborate with our Creative and Ecommerce teams to align messaging with visuals and campaigns
