Copywriter
About The Position
CACI is seeking a Copywriter to contribute to high-impact work within the Corporate Communications organization, operating as a modern in-house agency partner to the business. This role collaborates closely with Marketing, Internal Communications, External Communications, and Events & Partnerships to deliver compelling copy and ideas that elevate the brand, support growth priorities, and strengthen enterprise reputation. The successful candidate will be a part of the Creative Studio team within the company’s Corporate Communications department, and report directly to the Executive Director, Creative Studio. This position is located in Reston, VA.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in copywriting
- A portfolio demonstrating expertise, versatility, and measurable results
- Must be local to the DMV and be able to work on-site 3-days a week (Tuesday being mandatory)
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree (i.e., Creative Writing, Advertising)
- Experience working in the national security industry
Responsibilities
- Craft persuasive, on-brand copy for campaigns, executive communications, web, social, video, and events
- Interview subject-matter experts and translate technical concepts into clear, compelling language
- Apply voice/tone and brand guidelines consistently across formats and channels
- Edit and proofread for precision, accessibility, and compliance
- Partner with designers to concept creative ideas and narratives
- Incorporate feedback quickly; manage multiple deadlines with calm and quality
