About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented entry-level Fraud Specialist to join our Fraud Prevention team. This role helps protect the bank and its customers by monitoring transactions, investigating suspicious activity, assisting with fraud claims, and supporting fraud prevention efforts. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Zero to two years of banking, customer service, financial services, or investigative experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

associate’s or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Knowledge of banking operations, Regulation E, fraud prevention, or risk management is a plus.
Interest in fraud prevention, financial crimes, or compliance-related career paths.

Responsibilities

Monitor fraud alerts and review account activity for potential fraudulent transactions.
Investigate suspicious debit card, ACH, check, wire, and online banking activity.
Contact customers to verify transactions and resolve fraud-related concerns.
Process fraud claims and disputes in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Document investigations and maintain accurate case records.
Escalate complex fraud cases to senior team members, as appropriate.
Assist with fraud prevention initiatives, risk identification, and customer education efforts.
Collaborate with branch, operations, and customer service teams to resolve fraud-related issues.
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all bank policies and regulations.
