The Fraud Prevention Tech works in a call center environment using risk products to identify and mitigate suspicious activity on debit and credit cards. The role also assists members with questions and concerns about fraudulent activity and other general card-related matters. This is a hybrid position with a rotating schedule of four nights on and four nights off, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., including weekends and holidays. Training is completed onsite during daytime hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Employees are not eligible for remote work during their first 90 days. After that period, remote-work eligibility depends on performance, attendance, adherence to department expectations, and supervisor recommendation. The work takes place in an office setting, with physical proximity to other employees and some background noise from coworkers, a copy machine, and telephones. The position requires substantial sitting, use of a computer keyboard and telephone, comprehension of verbal and written instructions and phone calls, and the ability to lift five pounds. State Employees' Credit Union may fill the role at a higher or lower level based on business need.
