We have an opening for a Foundry Mechanical Specialist on 2nd shift at our new foundry in Dickeyville, WI, and are seeking someone who thrives in a people-first culture where teamwork, respect, and strong co-worker relationships come first—because by supporting each other, we best serve our ultimate boss: the customer. The ideal candidate has experience with trouble shooting Industrial equipment, repairing and rebuilding industrial equipment, General experience with pneumatics and hydraulics, and is comfortable troubleshooting mechanical issues in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two-to-four-year related experience and/or training; or documented equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with troubleshooting Industrial equipment.
  • Experience repairing and rebuilding industrial equipment.
  • General experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical issues in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
  • Pass a company specific, Mechanical Specialist test.

  • Safety training including Arc Flash Training.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on facility mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Install, maintain, and repair foundry industrial equipment.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair foundry mechanical equipment.
  • Review and interpret machine-specific documentation, including equipment manuals and online technical resources.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail when installing, servicing, or modifying equipment.
  • Utilize specific precision tools (torque wrenches, feeler gauges, calipers, etc.) to ensure proper application and prevent equipment damage.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues by dismantling defective machines or components and installing new or repaired parts.
  • Contact supervisor when additional support is required
