About The Position

Artian AI is building agentic AI automation for financial services, working with large financial institutions on complex workflows that span systems and require human judgment, approvals, production-grade controls, auditability, and governance. The Founding Solutions Consultant owns the customer-facing technical and solution lifecycle of enterprise opportunities, from initial discovery through POC execution. This senior individual contributor role combines technical credibility with commercial judgment and involves leading stakeholder discovery, demonstrating the product, mapping workflows across enterprise systems, and coordinating with Forward Deployed Engineers to resolve implementation issues. The role owns engagements through POC execution and then transitions them to the Solutions Delivery Manager, who leads production rollout.

As an early member of the commercial team, the consultant will also build repeatable discovery frameworks, POC structures, demo environments, and solution templates, while sharing structured customer insights with product, engineering, and GTM leadership. The position is full-time and onsite with an in-person team in New York.

Requirements

• 8+ years in enterprise software, AI/ML, fintech, or a related field, including 4+ years in solutions consulting, solutions engineering, or pre-sales.
• A track record of personally driving complex enterprise opportunities from discovery through POC or pilot execution.
• Experience working with large financial institutions or other highly regulated enterprises.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML systems, agentic applications, workflow automation, or enterprise AI platforms.
• A strong technical foundation in APIs, data flows, enterprise integrations, and modern application architectures, sufficient to work credibly with architects and engineers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior business and technical audiences.
• Strong process ownership, including setting next steps, following up on dependencies, and keeping complex engagements moving.
• Comfort working across sales, product, and engineering in an early-stage environment.

Nice To Haves

• Direct experience selling or deploying solutions within banking.
• Knowledge of banking operations, risk, controls, or servicing workflows.
• Experience navigating enterprise security, architecture, model risk, or governance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to understand workflows, systems, decision points, approvals, and controls.
• Qualify opportunities based on workflow complexity, business value, and technical fit, and identify stakeholders needed to move them forward.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to customer workflows and environments.
• Design solutions that map existing processes and runbooks onto Artian's platform and solution patterns, collaborating with product and engineering on feasibility.
• Scope POCs with clear objectives, success criteria, milestones, dependencies, and ownership.
• Lead the customer-facing side of POC execution alongside Forward Deployed Engineers, keeping work aligned with the original business problem.
• Present POC outcomes, partner with Solutions Delivery on the transition to production, and surface expansion opportunities.
• Build repeatable discovery frameworks, POC structures, demo environments, and solution templates as an early member of the commercial team.
• Feed structured customer insight back to product, engineering, and GTM leadership.
