About The Position

Svix is hiring a Founding Product Manager to help evolve its product into core communication infrastructure for backends and AI agents. Working directly with the CEO, engineering, and go-to-market (GTM) teams, this person will own product strategy and the roadmap, turn the CEO’s vision into a prioritized plan, and ensure the product meets customer needs. The role emphasizes fast, disciplined shipping, learning from developers, and maintaining reliability through careful versioning and deprecation practices. The Product Manager will also partner with GTM on pricing, packaging, activation, conversion, and repeatable new-customer growth. The position is in person at Svix’s San Francisco SoMa office, five days per week. Compensation is a $180,000–$230,000 salary range plus company equity and health insurance benefits.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager for a devtools or infrastructure product.
Experience working at an early-stage startup.
Ability to work in person at the San Francisco office five days per week.

Responsibilities

Own the product roadmap and shape product strategy alongside the CEO.
Translate the CEO’s vision into a clear, prioritized plan trusted by engineering and usable by GTM.
Run prioritization, user stories, and product tradeoffs end to end.
Prioritize ruthlessly, ship quickly, and learn continuously from developers.
Protect product reliability through disciplined versioning and deprecation, avoiding surprise breaking changes.
Define how the product serves AI agents as first-class users.
Partner with GTM on pricing, packaging, and growth.
Improve activation and conversion and make new-customer growth repeatable.
Build evidence to guide future product direction and establish Svix as core communication infrastructure.
