About The Position

Interfere is hiring its first dedicated outbound hire to build the outbound function from the ground up. The role owns how the company generates pipeline, what it tests, and how it develops a scalable outbound operation. The work is hands-on and includes account research, prospecting, writing and following up on outreach, and booking meetings. The BDR will work directly with the Head of Strategy and Growth, with significant autonomy, and will help shape the systems and lessons that inform future team growth. The role offers exposure to the full sales process and potential for increased responsibility as Interfere grows.

Requirements

  • Proven experience succeeding as a BDR.
  • Ideally 1–3 years in an outbound-focused BDR/SDR role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • A proven track record of generating qualified pipeline and knowledge of effective BDR practices.
  • Ability to quickly understand a technical product, communicate clearly, and hold credible conversations with senior engineering leaders.
  • Strong judgment and commercial awareness.
  • Willingness to do repetitive work, handle rejection, and persist when approaches are not working.
  • Competitive, ambitious, driven to deliver results, and motivated to progress quickly.
  • Able to work independently, identify problems, try alternatives, and learn from results without a fully established playbook.
  • Interest in building better processes, improving conversion, and making operations more effective.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling developer tools or to engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Research target companies, identify decision-makers, build prospect lists, write outreach, run campaigns across email, LinkedIn, phone, social channels, and other channels, and generate qualified meetings.
  • Test targeting, messaging, and channels; track conversion; iterate quickly; and expand effective approaches.
  • Develop the sequences, workflows, prospecting processes, reporting, and systems needed to make outbound repeatable.
  • Use AI and automation where they can meaningfully improve output.
  • Learn Interfere's product and customer problems, understand what matters to CTOs and engineering leaders, and use that understanding to make outreach more relevant and effective.
  • Take ownership of improving outbound operations continuously.

Benefits

  • Equity compensation.
  • Direct exposure to leadership and the full sales process.
  • Significant ownership over how the outbound function is built and operated.
  • Opportunity for accelerated career progression and increasing responsibility as Interfere grows.
