About The Position

The Forward Deployed Engineer joins a bootstrapped, high-growth AI consultancy that embeds teams with Fortune 500 clients to help make their operations AI-native. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining modern web and agentic applications, from architecture through production delivery, while working directly with clients and their stakeholders. This is an in-person role in New York City, five days per week, with travel to client sites roughly once a month. Compensation includes a guaranteed base salary of $180,000 and uncapped quarterly performance variable tied to shipped work. The posting says strong performers typically earn an additional $10,000–$15,000 per quarter, while top performers have earned $60,000–$80,000 in a single quarter. Founding-hire-level equity is offered, with four-year vesting and a one-year cliff.
