About The Position

The Forward Deployed Consultant joins monday.com’s Professional Services team to train, advise, and consult with customers as they optimize their use of the monday.com AI work platform through AI transformation, implementation, and managed services engagements. The consultant designs and builds AI-native solutions, configuring agentic workflows, automations, and reporting, and delivers engagements independently or with deployment strategists and engineers. This is a hybrid role with three days per week in the New York office and travel of up to 20% of the time.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a forward deployed consultant, implementation consultant, solutions consultant, or technical project manager in enterprise software.
• Experience leading software implementation or managed services projects involving hands-on building and system configuration in project management, CRM, service desk, or collaborative work management software.
• Fluency with Generative and Agentic AI tools and a strong understanding of using AI to improve work productivity and build intelligent workflows and agents.
• Familiarity with making AI reliable in production, including human review, checking outputs, and identifying when deterministic automation is preferable.
• Strong problem-solving skills grounded in computational thinking, systems design, and relational data structures.
• Business process design and consulting experience, business acumen to frame engagements around customer outcomes, and judgment to identify the underlying problem behind a request.
• Working knowledge of integration platforms such as Make.com or Zapier sufficient to configure lightweight integrations; foundational knowledge of APIs is expected, with GraphQL and MCP noted as a plus.
• Strong customer-facing and presentation skills, including credibility with client stakeholders and executives and the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to rapidly learn and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies across changing customers and industries.
• Detail-oriented, with strong project management skills and the ability to run multiple engagements independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, a positive attitude, empathy, high energy, initiative, and adaptability.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI transformation and implementation engagements, designing and building tailored solutions with agents, vibe-coded applications, and other advanced monday.com AI work platform capabilities.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders, lead discovery to identify desired business outcomes, and support organization-wide adoption of delivered solutions.
• Advise customers on business process design, map how work moves through their organizations, and recommend process changes before building solutions.
• Design sophisticated workflows and relational data structures on the monday.com platform, partnering with technical resources on data conversions, integrations, and agentic engineering.
• Use monday AI and external Generative and Agentic AI tools to accelerate solution design, automate complex business logic, and deliver intelligent workflows.
• Manage standalone engagements by creating and executing project plans that keep deliverables on time and within budget; deliver defined scope alongside a deployment strategist on larger engagements.
• Run online webinars, training sessions, consultations, and one-on-one demonstrations to show customers how product capabilities create business value.
• Create documentation, walkthroughs, and engagement exit artifacts so customers can independently operate, maintain, and extend delivered solutions.
• Represent customer needs and influence the product development roadmap.
• Contribute field-developed patterns and reusable assets to the shared asset library.
