About The Position
Hyster-Yale Materials Handling is seeking three contract forklift test drivers at its Fairview, Oregon facility. The role involves reliability and validation testing of prototype and production forklifts. The available positions are for a six-month period, with second-shift and third-shift schedules. The work is full-time, 40 hours per week, and may include weekend overtime when testing projects are in high demand. The position does not require travel.
Requirements
- Ability to multitask while using multiple hand and foot controls.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety procedures.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift or heavy equipment driving experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive forklifts following course maps and instructions.
- Keep accurate, legible test logs documenting observations and events for technicians and engineers.
- Perform simple facility or vehicle maintenance duties as assigned.
- Follow safety procedures.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
