Forklift Test Driver
About The Position
Hyster-Yale Materials Handling is seeking three contract forklift test drivers at its Fairview, Oregon facility. The role involves reliability and validation testing of prototype and production forklifts. The available positions are for a six-month period. Schedules listed include a second-shift position, Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:15 p.m., and a third-shift position, Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Weekend overtime may be required when testing projects are in high demand. Requirements
- Ability to multitask while using various hand and foot controls.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift or heavy equipment driving experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive forklifts according to course maps and instructions.
- Keep accurate, legible test logs documenting observations and events for technicians and engineers.
- Perform simple facility or vehicle maintenance duties as assigned.
- Follow safety procedures.
