About The Position

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, manufactures solar panels, inverters, and energy storage solutions. The Forklift Operator safely moves, loads, unloads, and stacks materials in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, supporting efficient material flow and inventory accuracy while following safety protocols. The role includes operating warehouse equipment, conducting daily equipment checks, maintaining clean work areas, and handling materials according to production and shipping needs.

This position works a continental 12-hour schedule, either 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. The posting title specifies a day shift, but the qualifications also list both day and night schedule options.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Ability to work a continental 12-hour shift schedule: 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Prior experience operating forklifts.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment, including RF scanners, pallet wrappers, label machines, hand jacks, and hand dollies.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift or heavy machinery certification.
• OSHA training.

Responsibilities

• Identify and transport requested materials among machines, loading docks, railroad cars, trucks, and storage areas.
• Review production schedules or shipping orders, then identify, verify, and transport requested raw materials, equipment, or processing materials.
• Apply knowledge of machine loading capacity and schedules to deliver required items promptly and efficiently.
• Protect and secure loads with protective materials and strapping equipment; remove strapping and wrapping after delivery and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Report material or transportation problems to a supervisor.
• Manage and stack drums, skids, pallets, and other supplies in specified areas.
• Service equipment as needed and report mechanical or electrical difficulties to truck mechanics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
