About The Position

Westaff is hiring an Equipment Operator in Wilmington, Massachusetts. The Associate III, Equipment Operations role supports warehousing activities by operating and driving equipment such as trucks and forklifts to handle and transport materials. Responsibilities include equipment-operator material handling, receiving material handling, and material handling.

Requirements

Verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Ability to read blueprints.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
If required, possess or be able to obtain the necessary equipment-operation certification or licenses.
A forklift operator license may be required.
A commercial driving license may be required.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience operating equipment and machinery in a transportation, warehousing, or manufacturing setting is desired but not required.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
