About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring forklift operators and warehouse support workers for load-and-unload work in Aurora, Colorado. The role involves moving and handling warehouse materials, picking and preparing orders, maintaining inventory records, and following workplace safety and quality standards. Training is provided. The position offers weekly pay of $20.00–$20.50 per hour, depending on shift, with overtime available. Applicants must have their own personal vehicle to reach the site.

Requirements

Have personal transportation and a personal vehicle.
Be able to operate a forklift.
Have a current forklift license and certification.
Be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and maneuver items.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Pass a background check.
Be authorized to work in the United States.
Be proficient in mathematics.
Have a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and a high regard for workplace safety.
Be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and independently.

Nice To Haves

Load-and-unload experience is preferred.
Knowledge of various material-handling equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift or other hand truck.
Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy.
Move materials between the warehouse, workstations, pick-up locations, and other locations.
Follow the company’s quality and customer service standards.
Perform cycle counts as required.
Pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipment.
Inspect and perform maintenance on forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
Follow and update inventory activity, lists, and records, and log completed tasks.
Identify workplace safety hazards.
Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods.
Load and unload materials.
